Our mission is to help those who suffer poverty in the Dominican Republic by assisting with clothing, food, school supplies and hygiene kits. By involving local citizens in our humanitarian efforts we are helping empower them to create a better future for people in their country. Our capital projects include building schools and homes. Our long term goal is to be able to employ local Dominicans to run our operations there.
Our 2014 Christmas project
We met Patricia’s mom, Jhohaira at the Blue Lagoon, a restaurant at the resort where we stay. When Jack ask about her family, she told us the story of her daughter’s motor bike accident. She has endured 9 surgeries and now has had to have an amputation. We have arranged for her to get a prosthesis and are raising the money for that for our Christmas project.
